As it became known to RBC daily, the company MAX completed testing a new technology platform, which offered an online store "SravniKupi." With it, the insurer began selling policies hull over the Internet. Buy such a policy can only new-car owners, others will have to pass inspection intramural car. So the insurance company to protect itself from fraud by customers who could purchase insurance after the accident.
Insurance for owners of new cars will be available after the introduction of an electronic database for the car owners. CEO Andrew Martyanov MAX says that in the organization of trade was the most difficult to find a technology solution that would fit into the framework of existing legislation. Among Max says that in the future plan to expand the line of products online: now testing insurer selling policies for traveling abroad, and the insurance supermarket "SravniKupi" considers as a sales channel.
Other market participants are also trying to sell their products over the Internet, without waiting for the officials. For example, "Alfa Insurance" has opened online sale hull insurance policy in August, but the company's website is available only for the purchase of a specific product, "AlfaKASKO 50x50".
